The initial launch of Amazon's Project Kuiper internet satellites, scheduled for April 9, had to be postponed due to bad weather conditions. As of Thursday, there had been no updates from either Amazon or United Launch Alliance (ULA), which is responsible for the Atlas V rocket that would carry the satellites.
Since ULA canceled the launch of 27 internet satellites last week, there has been a notable silence about it.
Amazon is competing with SpaceX through its high-speed satellite internet project, called Project Kuiper.
Amazon plans to launch 27 satellites next week as part of its Project Kuiper mission, with the goal of creating a constellation of over 3,000 internet satellites in orbit.
